Gap-Filler to be built - 1956

ENGELHARD NEWS
Work is scheduled to begin shortly on a building for the Air Force at
Engelhard according to representatives of the Corps of Army Engineers
in
Wilmington. This facility is known as a "gap filler" and has to do
with
the radar installations used by the armed forces. The project will
cost
about $40,000 and is to be located on the Middletown Highway a short
distance from Engelhard. The contractors are Miller Building Corp. of
Wilmington.
