The GATR facility was on the radar site. It is the building located northeast (about 150 yards) of the main building group.
In 1963, the transmitters and receivers were in separate buildings - receivers in a building on the southwestern corner of the base, approximately 300 yards from the radar towers - and the transmitters were in the northeast building. In 1964, the receivers were moved into the transmitter building in a "GATR" configuration.
The GATR site did not have to be moved far away becasue the TDDL (GKA-5) was a low power unit.
