Mt. Lemmon AFS, AZ Bowling Alley

The two images from the Bing "Bird`s Eye" collection, below, show the old 2-lane Bowling Alley building that was relocated from the former Mount Lemmon AFS to the Mount Lemmon Visitors Center. Today, the Bowling Alley building is no longer extant; the heavy snows of the 2009-2010 (?) winter collapsed the roof, according to the lady at the Visitors Center. The building was deemed to be beyond repair, and was then torn down.

In addition to the bowling alley, the building also included the "BX". The alley runs the full length of the building and the end of the bottom part of the"L" is the "BX" and snack bar.
