The former North Truro AFS is surrounded by the Cape Cod National Seashore. Its web site is found at URL: http://www.nps.gov/caco/home.html.

Click on "Locations" and then "The Highlands," and you`ll get info about the areas immediately around the radar installation (e.g., the Cape Cod Lighthouse, Highlands Golf Links, Jenny Lind Tower, etc.). However, there is no mention of the former Air Force station.

The drivings directions, given on the NPS web site, from US Route 6 to the Cape Cod (Highlands) Lighthouse, are the same as for the former North Truro AFS, except the Air Force (now FAA) access road is about a mile before the lighthouse.
