I dated a girl whose house was just a few feet beyond the fence line and only about 100 feet from the radar building. Good thing they didn`t have TV in those days, the radiation would have played hell with reception. On night when it was clear and we got bored we would tie fluorescent tubes to the antenna and enjoy the light show.
