A view of the rear entrance of the NCO Club. Moving to the right (past the pick-up truck) is the original Ops building, the one you were familiar with. To the immediate right of the photo is a pumping station designed to keep water pressure at the maximim to fire hydrants and fire hoses positioned throught the site.
The Rec Hall (Recreation Hall). This building housed a PX, a barber shop, two pool tables, another pay phone, and a small library. It uses to have a TV set until one of our airmen decided to
use a hammer to adjust the coil glued to the neck of the picture tube.
