FAA access road on the site's northwest side -- the FAA radar inside the former Air Force AN/FPS-27 FD search radar tower was originally an AN/FPS-67B type, but has now been modernized to the solid-state Common Air Route Surveillance Radar (CARSR) model.  This is the only AN/FPS-27 radar tower in the U.S. still in use as an active radar facility.  (looking east)

The former Air Force AC&W Radar Operations building (left) and one of the two AN/MPS-14 or AN/FPS-90 (both AN/FPS-6 variants) height-finder radar towers (right), as seen from the FAA access road.  The other height-finder radar tower (on the site's east side) is no longer extant.  (looking south-southeast)

SAGE-era GATR site located on the radar site's west side (the metal section on the right was originally the manual Ground-Air-Ground (GAG) Radio Transmitter bulding; the manual GAG Radio Receiver building was on the radar site's east side).  The GATR facility included voice radio transmitters, receivers, and transceivers, plus the AN/GKA-5 Time Division Data Link (TDDL) transitter.   (looking west-southwest)

Another view of the GATR site -- the cinderblock section on the left side was added for SAGE operations.  (looking northwest)
